WELCOME TO GIANTS THEATRE COMPANY’S NEW WEBSITE!

I’m excited and proud to present our new website and invite you to have a good look through it! We’ve had a revamp to reflect the many projects Giants are involved in and to celebrate our collaborators. You might think you know us, but here’s a chance to remind yourself of who we are, how we work, and how you can get involved.

As the name suggests Standing on the Shoulders of Giants is about collaboration. We work with people and communities who seldom go to the theatre, and whose voices are rarely heard on stage to create powerful theatre experiences. Our training programmes also reflect our collaborative nature whether you’re an actor about to go for an audition, a workplace that wants to excel, or a school looking to raise confidence in its students.

I started Giants after years of teaching at RADA and it has given me a new lease of life. And this enthusiasm for the work is imbued in all of the people who work for and with Giants. We welcome and rely on your ideas for new projects so get in touch. And we’d love you to keep you up to date with everything that’s going on, so if you haven’t already, sign up for our newsletter and be the first to know about opportunities like the Drama School Audition Technique Workshop we have coming up on 25th/26th March and how I’m getting along with writing our next play Lilith.

And don’t forget to tell us what you think of the new website!

Just been looking at the new website and though it’s really great in some respects – clearer and better organised, I have a couple of comments. It would be nice to have a Home page button – the hierarchy isn’t clear enough (for instance why are the Recent Posts and Categories subheads in blue not black – makes it unclear where they belong).
I have to say also I think it is too wordy – many more pix please! But also less writing, certainly on the first pages – fine when you are digging down for info but too long higher up.
But it’s such a great story you are telling that I wish you every success,
    Helen
